CBS New York

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Devils have reportedly lured a legend to New Jersey.

According to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, the Devils and Jaromir Jagr have agreed to a one-year contract.

The organization likely won’t announce the deal until Tuesday, according to LeBrun.

The 41-year-old right winger, who debuted with the Penguins in 1990, is entering his 2oth NHL season. He has played for Pittsburgh, Washington, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston and, of course, the Rangers.

The Czech was traded to the Blueshirts in 2004 and played in Manhattan until 2008.

The future Hall of Famer played for both the Stars and the Bruins last season, totaling 16 goals and 19 assists in 45 games played.

For his career, the two-time Stanley Cup champion has 681 goals and 1,007 assists.
