While in the studio today, Boris Kodjoe and his wife Nicole Ari Parker got to step in as interviewers for The Ryan Cameron Morning Show, and talked to Lupita Nyong’o from the movie “12 Years A Slave.”
Nyong’o, in her film debut, plays an enslaved mistress on a cotton plantation in the movie. And her being a native of Kenya, and Boris having ties to Ghana, became an immediate common ground for these actors. With that, it soon became a very casual conversation between the two (in which they also spoke about “12 Years” Chiwetel Ejiofor, who portrays the lead character).
The film has debuted at AMC Southlake, Regal Atlantic Station, AMC Phipps Plaza, & Landmark Midtown in Atlanta, and will premier in other cities the first week of November.
